Integrity Interactive Opens New Office in Brussels
Press Releases
Brussels, 18 September 2003 Integrity Interactive Corporation reached a key milestone in September 2003, when it announced the opening of its first European office located in Brussels, Belgium. The company will maintain its corporate headquarters in Waltham, Massachusetts. Integrity's Brussels office, located at Rond Point Schuman 6, BRUSSELS, 1040 Belgium, will serve as the base for its European operations as it delivers world-class online compliance and ethics training to companies throughout the European Union (EU).
"Corporate ethics and compliance is a global issue" said Carl Nelson, president and CEO of Integrity Interactive. "Our Brussels office will allow us to better serve our European clients as well as to work more closely with the European Union Commission.
Integrity Interactive's Web-based training courses cover more than 180 compliance topics including European Union Competition, US Antitrust Law, Financial Integrity, Data Privacy, Export Controls, Records Management, Insider Trading, and Conflicts of Interest. A world-renowned team of legal experts in corporate compliance and business ethics support the development of Integrity's courses.
Integrity will keep close tabs on changing legislation and regulations that impact the way European companies do business and will enhance its course offerings to further address European legal compliance and corporate ethics issues.
"Protecting a company's reputation and brand by avoiding corporate scandal is vital no matter where business is being done. We are bringing our legal, training, and technological expertise to market in Europe so that companies have a strong resource to help them recognize and avoid areas of risk that are particular to doing business in Europe," Nelson continued. Paul Basson, vice presidentEurope, will head Integrity's European operations, overseeing sales, customer satisfaction and new business development.
"Having built businesses throughout Europe for the majority of my career, I can attest to the great need for an ethics and compliance training provider like Integrity Interactive," said Basson. "As the EU continues to expand and the laws driving ethics and compliance become more complex and sophisticated, the need for companies to expand and update their compliance initiatives will become far greater. Integrity has the expertise and means to meet the great demand that we see throughout Europe."
